Colhuw is a large function room with a high vaulted ceiling and modern flooring and fittings. It is neutrally decorated to be light and bright but also has neo-blackout facility. It has two entrances from inside the centre to support a one-way in and out system if required, as well as an exit directly to the outside. 3 sets of windows open to provide good external ventilation and light.  

The room is fully accessible and within easy reach of the accessible toilet facilities.  

The room is ideal for regular classes or one-off events. It currently hosts weekly exercise and martial arts classes, as well as pre-school activities, and a monthly movie night and history lecture. It is the home of Llantwit Major Arts and Crafts Group, St Donats Choral and Chatty Cafe. The hall has also hosted AGMs and conferences, Christmas fairs, table top sales, a makers mart, and pre-wedding and christening celebrations. Hire Prices

• Commercial groups and Public Bodies £23 an hour

• Community, charity and voluntary groups £19.50 an hour

• Regular use (6 or more sessions) for Commercial groups and Public Bodies - £18.50 an hour

• Regular use (6 or more sessions) for community, charity and voluntary groups - £16.50 an hour                           

 All hires of 4 hours or more on one day are automatically subject to a further 10% discount.
