Covid-19 vaccinations at CF61!
We are very pleased to be supporting the local community by hosting the Llantiwt Major and Coastal Vale Medical Practice as they start their Covid-19 vaccination clinics from CF61 this Friday.
The practice receives a number of vaccines at a time, and organise clinics when they know how many are being delivered and when. Individuals are then offered an appointment at the clinics, according to their priority status. The practice follow the guidance of Public Health Wales as to who should be offered the vaccines first. Patients should, therefore, wait to be contacted by the surgery and rest assured that they will be, as soon as it is their turn and the practice receive the vaccines.
The surgery also keep their website and social media profiles up to date with progress, and with any relevant notices concerning Covid-19 vaccinations.
CF61 offers a warm, safe and fully accessible venue for the vaccination clinics, as well as ample parking. Patients will be asked to arrive on time – neither early nor late for their appointment. They should come to the front entrance of CF61 where they will be greeted, and should be able to queue inside the building if everyone arrives at the correct time. A one-way system will be in place inside the building, so that patients leave via a side door, directly into the large car park at the side of the building.
All patients will be asked to observe the Covid-safe rules at all times, including that they sanitise their hands on entry, wear a mask inside the centre, and remain 2 meters away from others at all times. Only the patients themselves will be admitted into the building, unless support from a carer is needed
